Aden Historical Archive – Rare Photos, Maps & History of Aden, Yemen

Aden Historical Archive is a digital collection of rare photographs, maps, and historical records documenting the rich history of Aden, Yemen. This archive includes images of Maalla Daka Wharf, Crater, Tawahi (Steamer Point), Little Aden, British colonial infrastructure, maritime trade, oil facilities, and daily life from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Our goal is to preserve and share Aden’s visual heritage for historians, researchers, and future generations.
